All we truly have is each other

Aloi

We are building the first social media app where caregivers and families can find care and connect with their community by combining social networking with care matching.

How it works

Create a profile, post updates with photos or videos, ask questions, share resources, donate goods, and connect with verified caregivers through our matching system and mutual connections.

Community First

Connect with other families going through similar experiences. Ask questions, share advice, resources, and support each other in a safe, trusted space.

Find the Right Care

Meet families and caregivers through your network. See mutual connections, message directly, and find care that actually fits your needs.

You're Not Alone

Maybe you need diapers, you're running low on groceries, or you're facing a new diagnosis. This is a space to ask for help, offer support, and show up for each other.

The Reality

Did you know the global childcare market is expected to reach $479 billion by 2033? The demand is massive. Yet millions of families still struggle to find reliable care, and costs continue to rise.

General: The Numbers Behind Childcare

  • 40% of children worldwide lack access to quality childcare.

  • Childcare costs have risen 51.8% from 2023 to 2025, outpacing inflation and consuming a significant portion of household income.

  • 17% of parents of children aged 0–5 were unable to find childcare when needed, primarily due to high costs.

Disability: Why Inclusive Care Matters

  • 2.2 million children under the age of 5 in the U.S. have a physical, intellectual, or developmental disability.

  • 60% of parents report difficulty locating suitable programs and resources, with many feeling that information is scattered.

  • Only 1 in 10 childcare providers are fully equipped to serve children with disabilities.

Our RootsAloi was built from a story of resilience, sacrifice, and love - and a promise born from altruism, the selfless devotion two women embodied, and koi, symbolizing strength and perseverance in the face of adversity. When I was just a kid, my two aunts - both in their fifties - dropped everything to raise my brother and me to keep us out of the system. The years that followed were incredibly hard: no financial support, no community resources, and no access to affordable childcare. They faced poverty, abusive caregivers, and made sacrifices they never imagined at that stage of life. But through it all, they never once hesitated.I’ve carried their strength with me in every chapter of my life - from working with children and families for over a decade, to specializing in disability care, to leading marketing efforts in the tech and AI space. My story is just one among millions. And it taught me something simple but powerful: all we truly have is each other, and together, that’s enough.
